The Philtpads are rounded, white, chalk blocks, which are placed in the bottom of the pipe bowl before adding any tobacco. Ridges on 3 sides leave space round the edges for smoke to pass through, whilst absorbing impurities from the smoke and any moisture from the bottom of the bowl. They are mainly used by wet smokers who find they draw moisture through the stem. No mess no fuss, when the filter turns a dark brown colour and looks full simply throw away and replace!

This box contains 40 activated 9mm charcoal filters for use in any pipe with a 9mm bore. Highly absorbent and disposable - just throw away and replace when it changes colour. 9mm filters reduce tar and nicotine, whilst ensuring a dry and cool smoke.

The draw is sweet and packed full a complex blend of flavours and the finish lasts and lasts. As you would expect the room note on this tobaccos is very pungent and enjoyed by most. Does leave a slight ghosting pipes after prolonged smoking of any Lakeland tobacco.
